Walking Your Way to the Games 2013
After the success of last year Rochford District Council has once again teamed up with Active Essex and South East Essex Ramblers to bring you “Walking Your Way to the Games”.
The challenge is simple, there are five walks to complete around South Essex, each is divided into five colours and you’ll receive a free gift for any walk that you complete. The challenge is; can you complete all five walks? Your quest starts this week at Hockley Woods!
The Red Walk (shortest walk) at Priory Park
Distance: 1-1.5 miles
Date: 28 March and 26 September 2013 Time: 1.15pm
Meeting point: Meet outside the café in Priory Park, Victoria Avenue,
Southend-on-Sea SS2 6NB
The Green Walk Richmond Hall
Distance: 2-3 miles
Date: 18 March and 16 September 2013 Time: 10.30am
Meeting point: Richmond Hall, Benfleet
The Yellow Walk at Hockley Woods
Distance: 2 Miles
Date: 7 March 2013 Time: 10:45am
Meeting Point: Hockley Woods Car Park (Pay and Display) - entrance next to The Bull
