Comparing photos of when it was first complete and now, it is fascinating to see how the timber has weathered and now blends more into the landscape

The facilities are bright and new inside and outside there is plenty of space for children’s groups to explore, often under the driection of a centre worker. In the woods nearby there is a ‘sculpture trail’ although not yet clearly marked, and it is not easy to find all the sculptures - we managed two. But in the days to come this is going to become an interesting wildlife starting point and worth a visit on a nice day. If the area has a drawback it is that there are numerous golf areas round and about. Care is needed
