Sign up now for the next Business Breakfast
Businesses in the Rochford District can sign up now for the next Business Breakfast.
The event takes place on Thursday April 25 from 7.30am to 10am at the Freight House in Rochford with the theme ‘Local Initiatives for Local Businesses’.
The Business Breakfast Meeting – which the Council runs in partnership with the Essex Federation of Small Businesses - will provide local businesses with a valuable insight into some of the initiatives happening in and around the District, plus provide an excellent opportunity to network with businesses in the area.
Among the speakers at the event will be Southend United FC Chief Executive, Steve Kavanagh, and Southend United Community & Educational Trust Chief Executive Officer, Dale Spiby, who will provide information on community initiatives the club provide, and how local businesses can get involved.
The Salvation Army: Employment Plus UK, Employment Engagement Coordinator, Julie Bakonyvari, will also be speaking and offering businesses a valuable insight into the Work Choice Programme, which aims to help people with a 'barrier' to employment find permanent, sustained work.
As well as the speakers involved the breakfast event also gives businesses the opportunity to:
- Get up to date with the business support provided in the Rochford District including the Shop At My Local Scheme
- Enjoy breakfast while you generate new business
