Come to the annual Civic Service!

This year’s Rochford District Council Annual Civic Service is being held on Saturday 23 February in Rayleigh and the Chairman of the Council, Councillor David Merrick, would like to invite members of the public to join him.

The Service will be conducted by the Chairman’s Chaplain, Reverend David Oxtoby and members of the local community, civic dignitaries and Councillors will meet together for a Service of words and music, beginning at 7pm at Holy Trinity Church, Rayleigh.

The Chairman of Rochford District Council, Councillor Merrick said “I would like to extend an open invitation for members of the public to join me at this year’s Civic Service.  It is always an enjoyable event in the Civic calendar and I am proud to take part as Chairman”.
