A Development Management Plan has been drawn up which sets out the detailed day-
The Development Management Plan for Rochford District builds upon the overarching policies in the Rochford Core Strategy, but it does not change the policies that are in the Rochford Core Strategy or the Allocations Plan.
The Plan was submitted to the Government to be examined in December 2013. The Government appointed a Planning Inspector who conducted public hearings to consider the Plan in March, and considered the consultation responses made. As a result the Council has prepared a list of these changes – the Schedule of Modifications. We now want to know your views on these changes. If you raised concerns at the last consultation or at the examination, have your issues been addressed?
The consultation is principally about ensuring anyone who commented on the Plan previously has an opportunity to consider whether the proposed modifications deal with their concerns, and as such all those who submitted representations at the last stage will be directly invited to comment. However, anyone may comment on the proposed changes if they wish.
The Inspector has made clear that he will only be considering comments on the modifications, and not other aspects of the Development Management Plan.
The Council is now inviting comments on the Schedule of Modifications for an eight week period from today [July 31, 2014 ]to midday on September 25, 2014.
