Events held at the library this month

Friday 5th   From 10am  Ancestry

Free ½ hour taster sessions to introduce you using Ancestry online. Booking required.

Friday 9th   9:30-11:30pm   Essex Police Active Citizens

Come along and see your local Active Citizen for any police community issues or obtain crime prevention information/leaflets.

Tuesday 9th  From 10am   Knit and Natter

From beginner to advanced welcome. Bring along your projects and share your skills and ideas. We work on group projects and individual creations. No need to book, just pop along.

Saturday 20th  10-11am  Councillors

Meet your local councillors representing Hawkwell East & West Ward, discuss queries you may have.

Tuesday 23rd  9.30am - Noon   ICE (Inclusive Communication Essex).

An interactive stall raising awareness with interesting resources for people with learning disabilities.

Thursday 25th 9:30-11:30am   Ways to Wellness

A representative is available for advice on simple ways to enrich your days.

Saturday 27th 10-11:30am Block builders Construction Club

Get creative with building blocks. Fun for all children. No booking required.

Wishing Well Centre: Baby & Toddler session. Every Tuesday (term time only) 9:45-10:15am. Stories & rhymes for all young children. Restarts Tuesday January 9th

Baby & Toddler: Stories and rhymes for all 0-5yrs. Every Friday (term time only) 2-2:30pm.

Weekly training held at the library

Computer Training: Not sure where to start? We can help you to start using a computer. Ask staff for details.

Job Club: Drop in sessions every Friday from 10:30am. Get help the Universal Job Match, applying online & CV’s.

Tablet Tuition: Free ½ hour sessions every Thursday morning. Get hints and tips on using your tablet. We can also help with other tech like mobile phones and laptops. Booking required.
