New Mini-buses

Through various large donations & fundraising events, we have been able to buy 2 new(ish) Minibuses to transport our Members to and from their homes and for days out! (We now have 3 Minibuses to run this service 5 days a week from Shoeburyness to Brentwood and everywhere in between!) So a massive "Thank You" to everybody that supports us and made these much-needed purchases possible!

A Cheque from Waitrose

Peaceful Place were one of 3 local charities in August to be chosen for the Waitrose Community Matters Green Token Scheme.
On Thursday 26th October, Sally Holman & Jill Oldbury from the local Waitrose store in Fossetts Way, Southend, presented us with a cheque for £490  A wonderful donation, so a big "Thank You" to Sally, Jill & Waitrose and to everybody that shopped there and put their Green Tokens in the Peaceful Place container!
