By addressing skills shortages in key industries, such as Energy and Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, they provide a foundation upon which future economic growth and prosperity can be built.
Since 2009 the Employability & Skills Unit Apprenticeship Team has worked with employers and local training providers to create over 2,000 Apprenticeships for young people, across the county.

~ Funding & Investment Team, Essex County Council
