THE ROTARY CLUB OF ROCHFORD DONATES £600 TO THE SOUTHEND BLIND WELFARE ASSOCIATION

Southend Blind Welfare Association Charity Shop manager, Sheila Raven, was delighted to receive a cheque for £600 from the Rotary Club of Rochford’s President Graham Jackson. The money, she said, will be used to purchase a new computer to help with the running of the association’s busy headquarters in Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff-on-Sea.

In handing over the cheque t­­­he Rotary Club’s President Graham Jackson stated how important he felt it is that funds raised by the Club locally should be given to local good causes like the Southend Blind Welfare Association.
