(Asda Fund Raising and Rotary Club Gift)
4th Rochford Scouts Fundraising & Bag-

Fundraising was in full swing at the Asda store in Shoeburyness on Saturday, as the 4th Rochford Scouts shook their collecting tins and helped shoppers to pack their shopping!!!
Along with Dave Moss, the Scout Leader, there were 5 young leaders, 14 Scouts and 1 Cub who took it in shifts to help the Asda Shoppers throughout the day!
They are continuing to raise money for the wheelchair accessible toilet and shower extension project at the Scout Hall in Church Walk, Rochford, where building will hopefully be commencing very soon! It was a fantastic day and they managed to collect an amazing £849.70!!! So a massive thank you to everybody that donated!
4th Rochford Scouts presented with £1000!!!

The Scout Group were presented with a cheque for £1000 from Mr Graham Jackson, the President of the Rotary Club of Rochford.
This donation will help towards the Scout Hall's Extension Project, where work is commencing very soon to build the wheelchair accessible toilet/shower block and a new entrance porch.
The Scouts would like to say a very big "Thank You" to the Rotary Club for this very generous donation!
