(Fundraiser Afternoon Tea & Asda Packing)
4th Rochford Scouts Afternoon Tea!!!
Saturday 10th September 2016
40 people enjoyed the most delicious Afternoon Tea at the Scout Hall in Church Walk, Rochford. The sandwiches, cakes & scones were amazing, all made by a few of the kids’ Mums & Dads!
The event raised about £200 (including over £40 from the Raffle), which will go towards organising more Activities for the whole Group.
A big "Thank You" to everybody that came along to support us and an even bigger "Thank You" to everyone that donated and made all the delicious food and helped set it all up!
A very successful day indeed!!!

Quite a few of the Scouts spent the whole day recently at Asda in Shoeburyness, shaking their collecting tins and also helping Customers to pack their shopping!
They raised an amazing £420.36, which is to go towards their planned Scout Trip to New Zealand in 2018!
All the staff and customers praised the Scouts for their hard work and commented on how well behaved they all were. Their parents, no doubt, must be very proud of them. Well done!!!
