4th Rochford Scouts help Peaceful Place at the Leigh Regatta!!!

The weather was perfect and the Scouts had a really successful day at the Leigh Regatta down at Old Leigh, helping out on the Peaceful Place stall.

The Scouts have a Community Partnership with this local Charity, which has a Day Centre in Dalys Road, Rochford, caring for people aged 40-65 with Young Onset Dementia.

The "Hook-a-Duck" and "Tombola" stall were a big hit with kids & adults alike!
A really fun day, which raised a fantastic £260 that will be put towards Daytrips out or Activities for the Members at the Day Centre!

The Scouts were amazing and their parents should be extremely proud of them.

The Peaceful Place said a big “Thank you” for helping them again this year.
