(Monkey Bizzness Sleepover)
Cubs & Beavers "Sleepover" at Monkey Bizzness!!! Friday/Saturday 28th/29th September 2018
40 Cubs & Beavers and 8 Leaders & Parents from the 4th Rochford Alpha & Omega Packs, armed with their sleeping bags & pyjamas, were really excited to have a “Sleepover” for one night at the Adventure Play Park “Monkey Bizzness” in Hockley!
This was their 4th Sleepover at “Monkey Bizzness” and was chosen by the Beavers and Cubs as part of their Programme choice of activities under the "YouShape" Scouting Campaign.
The kids had great fun for 4 hours playing on all the equipment and there were squeals of laughter when the Adult Leaders raced down the giant slides too!!! The winner this time was Sue Humphries, “Baloo” from the Cubs Alpha Pack!
There was also a 9th Birthday celebration for one of the Cubs, Max Ashton! All the other kids looked on as he blew out the candles on his chocolate cake, then they all enjoyed snacks & drinks too!!!
Lights out were at 10.30pm and for some kids, this was their first night sleeping away from home without their parents.
After a (fairly) good night’s sleep until 6.30am, they had breakfast, then the mayhem continued in the Play area until parents came to collect their very exhausted kids! Great fun for them all as usual.
