New Group to Tackle Flooding Issues
A Flooding Advisory Group will be set up as part of efforts to tackle flood-
It will see Rochford District Council working closely with Essex County Council,
which is the lead local flood authority and highway authority, and other agencies
including the Environment Agency, Anglian Water and the Fire Authority, to find cost-
The group will also consider engineering assessments of flood hotspots; prepare bids
for funding and lobby relevant organisations to deliver improvements to infrastructure;
