David Gilmore: Oil Painter: Venues 1 & 16 + Art Sale

David is another of the Art Trails regular and more prolific painters, as you can see above. As he says in his notes, many of his works are landscapes - particularly including water - and he has also painted nudes of the Old Masters, a very varied portfolio!

Keith Gravestock: Glass Artist: Venues 1 & 18

There is something beautiful about coloured glass, isn’t there! In 2014 Keith’s work first appeared in the windows of Rochford Furnishings and achieved great acclaim. In 2015 his work appeared in Number 1 and in the Hotel pavilion with a bigger display. This year the display is even bigger and more beautiful but if you really want to be wowed, go to his website:

Sandra Hall: Ceramicist: Venues 1 & 17 + the Art Sale

Definition: ‘Prolific’ adj  reproducing rapidly and in large numbers.

This has been a word that has come to mind a number of times as we have walked around this year’s Art Trail and no more so than when we have come across Sandra’s amazing displays of her ceramic work, and yes, as she says, ‘quirky characters’ describes so much of it so well. If you haven’t seen it yet, see her table on the Saturday Art Sale page.

Fair Havens: Visual Artists: Venues 20

Sadly the two large works of art displayed in the window of Fair Havens Charity Shop were hindered by the window and we felt they were worthy of a greater display - perhaps next year some more work from those at Fair Havens?  Pretty spectacular!
