We confess to being real fans of Cara’s work after seeing her bold adventures in colour last year. Her ‘Old Leigh’ (we presume) in the two different styles is really fun. Of her ‘creatures’ we think her owls stand out (see Art Sale page)

Ann Bacon: Visual Artist: Venues 1 & 9

Ann tentatively joined the Art Trail in 2014 and promptly filled the big window of the Faith Store and became a big hit with her ‘big and bold’ - which she repeated in 2015 - and now the pictures to the right filled the big window of the Crusty Bakery. Awesome!

Beryl Baker: Commercial Artist: Venue 1

Beryl, of course, is retired now and you can see more of her work in the past Trails. (We would have shown more if we could have overcome the light reflection in the Pavilion). She brought to us a preciseness in her display work which was transferred into her other pictures.

Kerry Baker-Davis : Ceramist: Venues 1,3,15

How Kerry, who organises and oversees the Rochford Art Trail, manages to have time to produce such a variety of art works (have you seen her Top Hat lights???) we don’t know - but thank you Kerry for doing it.

Kerry Baker-Davis : Ceramist: Venues 1,3,15

Alison Bishop-Coakley: Home Furnishing: Venue 26

Alison is a newcomer to the Art Trail but what a delight are her materials and products - more next year please!

If you didn't get over to the Golf Club to see this, you missed out!
