 4th Rochford Cubs Rifle Shooting!!!

The Cubs had a meeting with a difference last week!!!

15 Cubs plus 6 Adults had great fun when they took part in Rifle Shooting at the 1st Rayleigh Scouts HQ in Kenilworth Gardens, Rayleigh!!!

There was a competition where they all had 4 attempts,each with 5 shots! The lowest Cub score of the evening was 4 and highest was an impressive 130!!!  Plenty of Bullseyes were scored too!

(One of the Adults scored a total of 269!)

4th Rochford Scouts Activity Weekend at Thriftwood!!!

15th-17th May 2015

11 Scouts & 5 Young Leaders from 4th Rochford all had a great fun-packed weekend at Thriftwood Campsite & Activity Centre, Brentwood!!!

Over the weekend they took part in a 3D maze (crawling through various levels in the dark) where they all managed to find their way back out the other side!!!  They also broke into teams and made their own rafts! Lots of fun and very wet kids out on the lake!!!

The Go-Karting proved to be a big hit & the climbing wall was a great challenge!!!  They all managed to fit in a turn at rifle shooting too! 

4th Rochford Cubs in District Fun Run!!!

16th May 2015

On Saturday 16th May, just 2 of our Cubs took part in the District Fun Run, held at the Riverside School in Hullbridge!!!  In total about 100 Cubs & Beavers across the Crouch Valley District took part. There were individual age winners as well as an overall Group winner.  Our 2 Cubs each received a medal and certificate for "Outstanding Achievement".
