4th Rochford Cubs Monkeying Around!!! Friday 29th September 2017
32 Cubs and 7 Leaders & Parents from the Alpha & Omega Packs, armed with their sleeping bags & pyjamas, were really excited to have a “Sleepover” for one night at the Adventure Play Park “Monkey Bizzness” in Hockley!
The kids had great fun for 4 hours playing on all the equipment and there were squeals of laughter when the Adults raced down the giant slides too!!! After a (fairly) good night’s sleep & breakfast, the mayhem continued in the Play area until parents came to collect their very exhausted Cubs! Quote from Cub Leader Tony Humphries, “These exciting sleepover experiences are only possibly thanks to the dedications of the Leaders and Parents Helpers, who are willing to give up their time freely to help the Cub Scouts”.
