Essex Wildlife Trust has many fantastic events taking place across the county in the next few weeks. Join us at:
Hanningfield Reservoir Visitor Centre
Wild Night Out – Friday 19th, 26th August and 2nd September, 7pm – 9am
Enjoy a night on the nature reserve exploring its wildlife – bat detecting, nocturnal pond dipping, small mammal surveying and much more. Supper round an open fire, camp in tents provided and enjoy a full English breakfast. Donation £30 per person.

Chafford Gorges Visitor Centre
Family Fishing – Tuesday 23rd & Wednesday 24th August, 10am – 12noon
Come and try your hand at fishing every Tuesday & Wednesday throughout the summer holidays. All equipment supplied. Donation £5 per person fishing. Booking essential. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Teddy Bears Picnic – Friday 26th August, 10.30am – 2pm
Bring your teddy for a day of fun at Abberton including; den building, trails, stories and more. All ages welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Bring a picnic lunch. £5 donation requested per child. Booking essential.

Join us as we gather round our moth traps to discover what nocturnal creatures are attracted to the lights, local expert on hand to help with identification. We'll also use the bat detectors to see what else is about. Hot chocolate provided! Donation £5 per person.
