Avocet Egg Watch
Please help save the Avocet -

We urgently need volunteers to help protect the Avocet from egg thieves. We are once again looking for volunteers to assist with the monitoring on Two Tree Island. Just one visit can make a massive contribution to keeping the birds on an upward curve.

Fingringhoe Wick Visitor Centre
Nightingale Walks -
Sunday 22nd April to Sunday 6th May, 7.30pm - 9pm
Come and experience the amazing sound of the Nightingale. We have approx. 30 - 40 singing males each year and their song fills the air. These guided walks are always extremely popular, so book early to avoid disappointment. £5 per adult or £3 per child.

Langdon Visitor Centre
Bat evening -
Friday 27th April, 8pm - 10pm
Join us for an informal talk about the bats that live on the reserve, followed by a walk looking and listening for the different species using our bat detectors. Wear suitable clothing, footwear and bring a torch. Age 16+. Donation £6 per person. Booking essential.

Thorndon Countryside Visitor Centre
Dawn Chorus -
Saturday 28th April, 4.30am - 8am
Come and experience the Dawn Chorus at Thorndon. Join our bird experts who will take you around the park as the sun comes up to identify the different birds you hear. Then back to the visitor centre for a cooked breakfast. Donation £10 per person.

Bluebell Walk
