Spring Plant Sale: 21st April
A bright sunny morning, plenty of people milling around, and tomatoes and tomatoes and tomatoes (and, to be fair, a few other things which were going rapidly.)
The Spring plant sale was well under way. Wandering down the allotments this is clearly the time of year for preparing the ground (see below) For the sake of whoever it was, I hesitated to photo one ‘jungle’ (Perhaps they are harvesting weed seeds -Not kind to other allotment holders though!)
Scattered regularly across the allotments are the new water supply dip tanks. What a brilliant provision! (see bottom)
