It’s a (mostly) sunny morning, a good time to sit and drink tea or coffee and have a cake while the world of gardeners hums around you.
Summer Plant & Produce Sale 2011
We’ve said it before and we’ll no doubt say it again - being out on the allotments on a sunny morning picking up fresh produce and chatting with the sun tanned individuals who have grown them, takes some beating.
So here’s a short reminder of the produce sale today, 9th July 2011
We’ve said it before and we’ll no doubt say it again -
Gardener’s sartorial elegance may not always match that of Royal Ascot but if you saw what these guys grow you’d hush your mouth!
It might have been a funny old Spring with no rain, but it’s made up for it since and there is an abundance of produce.This beats seeing it in Tesco’s, Asda’s or Sainsbury’s. This is wonderful!
It’s obviously been a good year for rhubarb, tomato plants and fuschias, for there plenty on sale
While out on the allotments there are some amazing flowers....
.... and colour abounds. How amazing! .
