At the beginning of July 2013 the Four Seasons Garden Centre opened its front car park to potential stall holders for the first of its Sunday markets held, its owner hopes, every Sunday of the year (in the back Poly-tunnel in the winter). For would-be stall holders, the first fifteen stalls are free (returnable deposit) and thereafter £7.50 a stall for the morning. “Stalls” also includes selling from car boots. Although starting at 9.00am, when we arrived at 9.15 we found the first seven stalls setting up. With plenty of room for more, contact Danny on number or e-mail above.
The first stall holder we met (left) selling vintage jewellery was Della Newman.

Next to her (right) was Helen Freeman and daughter, Samantha Miller,  with a massive range of personal made earrings and other jewellery
The next stall holder (left) was Four Seasons proprietor, Danny Thorne, displaying some of his more unusual ‘garden’ products

Fourth along (right) was Karen Prior (Kazzy Crafts) with a selection of personal made cushions, scarves, bunting and bags (which can be made to order)
Next, lined up behind their rows of ‘Country Kitchen’ Chutneys & Relishes, Preserves, Jams, Marmalades and Curds (all @ £2.50 for 8oz jars) were Philip Braunton and Lianne Williams who have been producing their products since the beginning of the year. Lianne says they are “old classics like rhubarb and vanilla jam, and new ones like sweet chilli, and very old ones like classic apply chutney, and so on.”
On the home run (left) is Betty Thorne with leather goods, then (centre) Kath Nolan and (right) daughter-in-law Carla Nolan who, at the moment, were the only two car-boot-sale sellers.

As we talked with each of the stall holders, we found that some had been here each of the three weeks the market has been running - and hope to continue to be there weekly, while one or two others anticipate they will be here fortnightly.

So, there is plenty of space and Danny’s intent is to build it up and run throughout the year if possible so, again, if you want to have a stall here, contact Danny Thorne on either phone 01702  530765, or e-mail info@fourseasonsrochford.co.uk
